Two years after giving a pandemic-struck world a way to kill time, the battle royale sequel is aiming to improve on the original’s shortcomings while also adding in a few personal touches. Of course, it won’t replace Warzone entirely as the free-to-play game will still exist once Warzone 2.0 is out. Instead, both Warzone and Warzone 2.0 will co-exist, which is an interesting take but a different topic for another day. What we’re here to talk about is when Warzone 2.0 is coming out, when you can start the pre-load, and why some people got a chance to drop in early. As confirmed earlier this year, Warzone 2.0 will launch on November 16 at 10:00 AM PT or 1:00 PM ET. As Warzone 2.0 is a live-service title, expect to have a bit of trouble when you try to log into the game for the first few hours. Thankfully, you can pre-load Warzone 2.0 on November 14 at 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM ET and attempt to jump into the game as soon as it’s out. Unfortunately, unlike with Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 will not go through an early access testing period. Instead, all players will play Warzone 2.0 at the same time on November 16. However, the game did get a closed-door event on November 9. This explains why several content creators have videos of Warzone 2.0 and the new DMZ modes up on their channels already. With Warzone 2.0 coming out in less than a week, Call of Duty game fans can look forward to hearing more about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile in the next few months.
