Serving as the chief content officer for WWE, Triple H made a name for himself in the 90s and is widely credited as one of the greatest figures of the Attitude Era. However, Rene Dupree recently called him out for being envious of John Cena back in his wrestling days. Speaking on the Cafe de Rene with Rene Dupree podcast, the Canadian wrestler said: The feud between the two WWE stars began back in 2006, following John Cena’s championship win over Edge at the Royal Rumble match on January 29. The feud culminated in a title match at WrestleMania 22, in which Cena retained the title. Subsequently, the rivalry between them intensified with every encounter, from the 2008 Night of Champions promotional match to the most recent WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Speaking of the WWE, Vince McMahon recently secured a seat on the Board of Directors despite the board’s unanimous disapproval. According to Triple H, the embattled billionaire returned to WWE only to facilitate the company’s sale to Saudi Arabia, and the creative decisions in WWE do not lie within his scope of authority.
