If Infinity Ward wanted people to pre-order Modern Warfare 2 based on the launch trailer, then we can consider the job done. The latest footage for Modern Warfare 2 confirms the globe-trotting operation that will take players all over Europe, Asia, and the Americas, as part of an ongoing drug war and the international drug cartels. Instead of just an eight-minute playthrough of one level, the new footage sees Task Force 141 in different settings. It does a great job of setting expectations about the central conflict. The single-player campaign of Modern Warfare 2 will be available to play a week early on the 20th, as a preorder bonus, followed by the full launch on the 28th. Modern Warfare 2 isn’t the only new Call of Duty game that’s coming out later this year. We can also look forward to the free-to-play sequel, Warzone 2.0, on November 16.
