The Rytec AMR (aka .50 Cal Barret) is a new Sniper Rifle introduced to Warzone in Season 4. This Sniper Rifle is one of the most robust rifles in the game and carries quite a weight to it, and rightfully so, considering it is a .50 Cal Sniper Rifle. The Rytec AMR is the slowest Sniper Rifle out of all the available snipers in the game. The base weapon without any attachments itself is extremely slow. You can never utilize Rytec AMR as an aggressive player and push players like having a Kar98k, but if you are a patient player who likes to hold their position and take out enemies, then this loadout is perfect for you. This loadout focuses on increasing the bullet velocity, damage range, and the overall mobility while using this Sniper Rifle. The movement includes ADS speed as well, and it is the most crucial part of this loadout. You will need to level up your Rytec AMR to at least level 30. We have a full guide on how to upgrade your weapon, battle pass tier, and player fast. We also have a guide on all the attachments for every weapon along with their unlock level requirements.

Video Guide

Barrel

For the Barrel, you will choose FTAC Seven Straight, which will increase your damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. This Barrel is vital for this Sniper Rifle in Warzone, since the bullet drop on the base weapon is quite noticeable, and we need to ensure that we get enough bullet velocity to take out targets at longer distances.

The FTAC Seven Straight unlocks at level 4.

Laser

You need to choose Tac Laser as your Laser attachment. There should be no compromise when it comes to selecting this attachment! As stated earlier, the base weapon without any attachments has the slowest ADS speed, and we need to have at least a decent ADS speed on the Sniper Rifle. Tac Laser will give you just that and more. You will get increased ADS speed, Aiming Stability, and Aim Walking Steadiness.

The Tac Laser unlocks at level 28.

Stock

The STOVL Tac-Wrap should be selected as your Stock. This attachment will further increase your ADS speed.

The STOVL Tac-Wrap unlocks at level 30.

Rear Grip

You should select Stippled Grip Tape as the Rear Grip. It will increase your ADS speed even more, along with an improved Sprint to Fire Speed. The Sprint to Fire Speed buff will give you a bit of extra flexibility if you wish to play more aggressively, such as pushing an opponent. But do not expect to take down a player with an SMG such as an MP7 or MP5, as they will destroy you even before you get the chance to scope in.

You should always try to keep your distance, even if you are trying to push someone with this Sniper Rifle. The Stippled Grip Tape unlocks at level 22.

Perk or Ammunition

The last attachment can be anything you want, except if that attachment would decrease your ADS speed. We have two recommendations for your last attachment, depending on the situation or playstyle. If you decide to go with the Perk option, then a good option would be the “Sleight of Hand” or “Focus” perks. It is best to go with the “Focus” perk since it will decrease your flinching whenever you are getting shot at. This will help you take out the enemy easily.

Since reloading and overall usage of this gun are quite slow, the “Sleight of Hand” perk can be useful here and can come in clutch. If you choose Ammunition as your fifth attachment, then you can choose 25x59mm Explosive 5-R Rounds. These rounds will decrease your overall mobility drastically. Your bullet velocity, recoil control, and even damage range will decrease. This attachment will decrease your fire rate as well.

The only good thing coming out of this attachment is the explosive impact and increased damage. These explosive bullets can help you destroy vehicles extremely fast. Since it is a bolt action Sniper Rifle, you will be able to just spam explosive rounds into any vehicle, which will shred it! It takes 2 hits to destroy a Quad Bike, 3 hits for ATV, 5 hits for SUV, 6 for Helicopter and 13 in total to destroy a Cargo Truck (9 to disable it). Also, the reason we do not use a Suppressor on the Rytec is that it gives a lot of hit markers whenever you try to shoot a person. It is not as effective as it is without a Suppressor. It is better not to add any Muzzle on the Rytec AMR. The Sleight of Hand perk unlocks at level 5, Focus at level 29, and the 25x59mmExplosive 5-R Mag unlocks at level 10.

General Perk Tips

Just like our HDR Sniper Rifle Loadout and Kar98k Loadout, it is recommended that you choose the Overkill perk as your second perk slot. This will allow you to select a secondary weapon that you can use for your CQC (Close Quarter Combat) engagements.

You won’t be able to take down opponents indoors with your Rytec AMR. You can choose either an AR or an SMG. We have perfect SMG loadout guides for weapons such as the Fennec and MP7. Anyone of these two can work well for CQC situations. Finally, for your third perk slot, our recommended perk is Amped as it will allow you to switch between your Primary and Secondary weapon faster.
