Hot on the heels of a potential Skate reveal next month, Tom Henderson is claiming that EA is planning to announce the next installments in some of its most popular franchises going forward, specifically Skate, Need for Speed, and FIFA.

My report via @XputerE https://t.co/H7EVelUWs7 — Tom Henderson (@Tom_Henderson) June 26, 2022 The official reveal of FIFA in July should not come as a big surprise. FIFA 21 and 22 came out in September 2020 and October 2021, respectively, with their official reveals usually coming a few months before. If we assume that FIFA 23 will come out in September or October, a July announcement makes a lot of sense. On that note, we’re more interested to hear more about the new Need for Speed and Skate. The former was delayed from its original launch last year so that Criterion Games could help DICE with Battlefield 2042. With both Criterion and Codemasters working on the rumored-to-be-next-gen-exclusive racing game, fans are expecting a lot from the next Need for Speed. With July only a few days away, we should start hearing more about the upcoming reveals straight from the horse’s mouth. Until then, we’re better off looking forward to another set of rumored showcases with the third-party Nintendo Direct and State of Play reportedly scheduled for the 30th.
