In what appears to be a PS Now ad for Facebook, we can see all the games joining the PS Now library in July 2021, which apparently includes Red Dead Redemption 2. Here’s everything we know about the PS Now July 2021 leak.
Is The Star-Studded PS Now July 2021 Leak True?
Believe it or not, PlayStation Now actually has a much larger games library compared to EA Play Pro and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. In fact, it has nearly a thousand games available for subscribers to stream and play. However, unlike the Xbox Game Pass, which routinely sees brand new games become available at launch, PlayStation Now games are often older and of “lesser” quality. Sony has attempted to fix this in recent months. For example, Marvel’s Avengers joined PS Now back in April. Unfortunately, that was just for one month. However, this lack of quality releases hasn’t seemed to have gone unnoticed. If the leaks are to go by, Sony is planning something big for July 2021. According to an errant Facebook ad that was spotted by Reddit users, complete with a screen-recorded clip, July 2021’s PlayStation Now update is a big one. The main highlight is Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games’ award-winning sandbox action-adventure title that was released back in 2018. In addition to this, games like Moving Out, Nioh 2, and 2018’s God of War, as well as the Yakuza spin-off game, Judgment, are all set to join Sony’s video game streaming service in July 2021. This isn’t the first time that Sony had added God of War to PlayStation Now. However, it seems like its inclusion this time is a permanent one. Also, if the leak is true, Rockstar’s wild western adventure title will be available to stream and download until November 1. Meanwhile, as for Judgment, the leak suggests that it will only be available until October 4. If all of these games are indeed coming to PlayStation Now, we’d like to remind you not to expect too much. You’ll be getting the PS4 versions of the said games and not the PS5 enhanced versions. Unlike the Xbox Game Pass, which was recently updated to support Xbox Series X versions of games, PS Now only supports PS4 games. Either way, the July 2021 PS Now lineup leak is huge if it turns out to be true. Unfortunately, there’s no official information available. We recommend treating this with skepticism until Sony comes out with its own announcement. For now, you can settle for the PlayStation Plus July 2021 free game lineup.
