According to Billbil-kun, the PS Plus January 2023 lineup are the following:
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Fallout 76 Axiom Verge 2
The obvious headliner is Respawn Entertainment’s hit 2019 title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s easily considered one of the best Star Wars games of all time and, more importantly, it’s going to get a sequel, Jedi Survivor, in March. Bringing Fallen Order to PS Plus Essential in a few weeks feels like a premeditated move to help hype Cal Kestis’ return. On top of Fallen Order, Sony brought in Fallout 76 and Axiom Verge 2. The former is already available on the more expensive, PS Plus Extra, tier but bringing it to the cheapest tier is an excellent touch. This should help add a couple of hundred thousand more players to Fallout 76, which recently celebrated crossing the 13.5 million player mark following its disastrous launch. Meanwhile, the latter is the Metroidvania-like sequel that should appeal to gamers who’re looking forward to the upcoming Castlevania DLC for Dead Cells. All in all, January is shaping up to be an eventful month for PlayStation. Keep in mind that Sony usually adds a game or two to the usual leaks. Not to mention, the Extra and Premium (or Deluxe, in certain countries) tiers, add even more to the lineup, just like what happened earlier this month. Finally, the coup de grace is the release of Forspoken, which will use data from the recent demo to iron out most if not all kinks ahead of its January 24 launch.
