First off, the ESRB and PEGI have finally listed Bayonetta. According to the former, the third Bayonetta game will have an “M” rating for “violence, blood and gore, partial nudity, strong language, and in-game purchases.” Meanwhile, the latter has awarded the upcoming sequel a provisional PEGI 18 rating. Technically, both the ESRB and PEGI haven’t rated Bayonetta 3 yet. We came across this info from Nintendo US and Nintendo UK, respectively. Having said that, the actual rating itself isn’t significant. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 received similar ratings, so Bayonetta 3 was expected to be rated for more mature audiences. What’s important here is that the listing suggests that a release date reveal for Bayonetta 3 is coming soon. If we believe the words of another insider, Nintendo will confirm the release date for Bayonetta 3 tomorrow, July 13.

— Sylux (@Syluxhunter) July 12, 2022 Nintendo officially confirmed Bayonetta 3 in 2017 before the game resurfaced in last year’s September Nintendo Direct. Since then, we’ve heard very little about Bayonetta 3 from any official source. However, the same source let it slip that Bayonetta 3 is coming out on October 28. If we don’t hear more about Bayonetta 3 tomorrow, don’t worry. Bayonetta 3 is still on track to launch this year. We’re bound to get word about Bayonetta 3 from Nintendo sooner than later. Most likely, Bayonetta 3’s next trailer will come at the next Nintendo Direct.
