We’re here to talk about the middle-child of the trio. These semi-automatic weapons can’t fire as fast as assault rifles nor do they have the stopping power of sniper rifles, but they have far more range than the former and aren’t quite as cumbersome to use as the latter. This makes them the ideal choice for those who still prefer to keep their distance but don’t necessarily have the best aim.
What Precision Rifles Are Available in Cyberpunk 2077?
There are two different types of precision rifles in Cyberpunk 2077: the SOR-22 by Midnight Arms and the M-179E Achilles by Militech. Neither of these two is the best Cyberpunk 2077 precision rifle. That honor belongs to the Widow Maker, an “Iconic” variant of the M-179E Achiless that has a higher RPM than the original rifle with an increased chance to apply poison, bonus mechanical damage, and a chance to deal more damage using charged shots.
How to Get the Best Precision Rifle in Cyberpunk 2077
The Widow Maker is another weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 that’s quite easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. Or, in this particular case, if you’re not the sort to look through the bodies of your dead enemies. To get your hands on the Widow Maker, all you need to do is to follow the main story mission, “Ghost Town”, and help Panam Palmer retrieve stolen goods, including her car. During the latter half of the mission, V and Panam will find themselves ambushed by the thief, Nash, and the rest of his crew. So, all you have to do is to take out Nash, loot his body, and get the gun. That’s it. Plain and simple.
