We most recently caught wind of Survivor’s potential launch by early next year thanks to an EA investor’s call. Now, Tom Henderson claims that EA will drop the release date for Survivor, along with a presumably more extensive trailer, at The Game Awards on December 8. He adds that the reveal will come with pre-order details alongside the 30-minute trailer. If Cal Kestis’ next outing will be early next year, then we can expect to hear more about it in the next few weeks. The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is highly anticipated after the original played a major role in the public’s current interest in several video game developers in making Star Wars games. In addition to Respawn Entertainment, Ubisoft, Aspyr Media, Skydance Media, and Quantic Dream are all confirmed to be working on at least one big-budget Star Wars game. Unfortunately, the Star Wars games by the said studios are still galaxies away. A fresh trailer for Survivor could help keep Star Wars fans busy with a new game. Hopefully, EA and Disney will finally confirm the long-rumored Cal Kestis Star Wars spin-off show as soon as Survivor is out.
