Following up on earlier reports, the same source claims journalists and influencers got to play Diablo 4. The embargo on their impressions will lift on December 7, just before The Game Awards starts.

Corden has since clarified his initial info was more of a window. According to Corden, Diablo 4 could launch within eight weeks of the initial date. Given everything we’ve heard about Diablo 4, we’re thankful the wait for the next big news about the game isn’t too far off. Diablo 4 is easily one of the most highly anticipated games that’s set to come out next year. After several delays, we might finally get a chance to play. Hopefully, the success of Diablo Immortal hasn’t changed Blizzard’s initial plans for Diablo 4.
