If you haven’t heard yet, then we are here to confirm that there will only be one post-credits scene for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Typically, Marvel has two: a mid-credit and one post-credits scene related to a sequel or tie-up with another film. In Black Panther 2, there will only be a mid-credit scene. Fans are reacting to this non-traditional stance. But, before everything boils over, Nate Moore, producer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever tried to explain why they chose to have only one scene instead of two. Speaking to Brandon Davis, Moore reveals that the decision hinged on the tone of the movie. “Not this time. Obviously, the weight of this movie is a bit different, and the tone of this movie is a bit different, and it felt, especially, once people see the film,” Moore shares. “We felt the ending was kind of poetic that to then go back and say, “Hey, there’s a tag at the end of the credits,” felt a little disingenuous tonally from what we were doing. Much like [Avengers] Endgame didn’t have a tag, this didn’t feel like a movie that needed it,” the producer adds. The post-credits scene will reportedly focus solely on the Black Panther movie. According to insiders, it will be “very emotional” and not something conducive to introducing a villain or a future project. Fans have speculated that Doctor Doom would appear in the end credits of Black Panther 2. There have been rumors that he is the next big villain in the MCU as it was revealed that a Silver Surfer project is underway. That rumor was also quashed by Moore during the interview. “I get why,” Moore answers regarding the Doctor Doom rumors. “He’s such a great character and the world of Latveria is so fantastic but once we decided that Namor is the antagonist, that was always going to be the focus.” It is perhaps not yet the time for us to see Victor Von Doom in the MCU. He may be part of the Fantastic Four movie or the rumored Silver Surfer project. There are also talks that he is possibly related to Doctor Strange and Mephisto in the MCU’s future. Well, we surely won’t be seeing Doom in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Kevin Feige also confirmed that the focus for Black Panther 2 would be Wakanda and the new kingdom Talocan. Kevin Feige said during an interview with Variety at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever:
